A High Thought on Drug Use

There's a difference between drug use and drug abuse.

Alcohol is a drug.
One to two drinks to take off the edge = drug use.
Ten drinks before noon to escape reality = drug abuse.

Tylenol is a drug.
Two Tylenol to cure your headache = drug use.
Twenty Tylenol to get high = drug abuse.

Marijuana is an herb.
One bowl to relax = herbal use.
Bong rip after bong rip = herbal overuse.

If you're high, you're high.
If you avoid something to get high, you're lazy.
If you spend all day smoking, you are only wasting away your own time.

People are lazy, people can watch TV and waste their time; however, neither are considered illegal and neither are addressed on such a level as marijuana.  In my humble opinion: a functioning high person is far more appropriate in life than lazily watching TV (at the level that you are no longer using it for amusement and a break from life but it has consumed you, your free time, ie your life).

Just a high thought.

Could Legal Marijuana be the answer to our Economy?

If it's not, it might be for the State's economy.

According to CNN Money, Colorado received $2 million from marijuana taxes for only the first month.  Check out the article HERE.

It seems to only be rising from what I can tell.  The article says $5.1 million from alcohol taxes in December, one of the holidays marked as the highest alcohol intake.  If marijuana taxes is already at $2 million, the potential I'd put around an average of maybe $3-5 million eventually.

If every state followed, maybe the US could pay off debts and have money on the "high" rise.  Maybe.

Just a high thought.
