A High Thought on Drug Use

There's a difference between drug use and drug abuse.

Alcohol is a drug.
One to two drinks to take off the edge = drug use.
Ten drinks before noon to escape reality = drug abuse.

Tylenol is a drug.
Two Tylenol to cure your headache = drug use.
Twenty Tylenol to get high = drug abuse.

Marijuana is an herb.
One bowl to relax = herbal use.
Bong rip after bong rip = herbal overuse.

If you're high, you're high.
If you avoid something to get high, you're lazy.
If you spend all day smoking, you are only wasting away your own time.

People are lazy, people can watch TV and waste their time; however, neither are considered illegal and neither are addressed on such a level as marijuana.  In my humble opinion: a functioning high person is far more appropriate in life than lazily watching TV (at the level that you are no longer using it for amusement and a break from life but it has consumed you, your free time, ie your life).

Just a high thought.

Need to know how to setup a low budget indoor marijuana garden?

Check out www.ilovegrowingmarijuana.com's article:

Then get to growing.  Just make sure you always grow within the legal bounds of the law!

The dark side is that one person always tries to ruin it for the rest of us

To smoke or not to smoke, for teens the answer should be obvious but is temptation too much?  ARE there more teens smoking, or are there just more getting caught?  Parents nowadays are far more aware of marijuana and it's side effects (red eyes, munchies, ultra relaxation).  So does legalization really affect teen use?

Just another reminder... please do not indulge in marijuana until you are 21.  Another treat to look forward to when you are of age.  In other words, another reason to live it up on your 21st birthday.  And when you do, have Colorado Cannabis Tours in mind.  Best way to live it up for your 21st birthday in Denver!
Until then, put your brain cells to use by learning, studying, and actually doing well in school.  When you finally do get to smoke, you'll appreciate it more and you'll know more about what you're doing.

Although, I will say I've never heard of anyone dying because of weed, Aaron!

What do you think?

Free up the Police for better things

Check out this article: "Washington's new marijuana law may be freeing up police resources"

I always knew cops had something better to do than hassle marijuana tokers and now it's being proven.

Referring to younger persons increasing due to legalization - bull.  Now kids have a choice to wait or smoke.  Before legalization there was NO waiting period, there was smoke or not to smoke.

Lastly... the third paragraph from the bottom... come on, the world is better than that.  Just saying, unnecessary information!

Could Legal Marijuana be the answer to our Economy?

If it's not, it might be for the State's economy.

According to CNN Money, Colorado received $2 million from marijuana taxes for only the first month.  Check out the article HERE.

It seems to only be rising from what I can tell.  The article says $5.1 million from alcohol taxes in December, one of the holidays marked as the highest alcohol intake.  If marijuana taxes is already at $2 million, the potential I'd put around an average of maybe $3-5 million eventually.

If every state followed, maybe the US could pay off debts and have money on the "high" rise.  Maybe.

Just a high thought.
